Battery replacement questions
How long does a phone battery replacement take?
In-stock phone battery replacements are generally done the same day. If the battery has to be ordered, we'll tell you when to expect your phone back before we start.
How do I know if my battery needs replacing?
On an iPhone, open Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health. A Service message or a maximum capacity under about 80% means it's time. On Android, fast drain, sudden shutdowns or swelling are the usual signs. Not sure? The diagnostic is free.
Is a swollen battery dangerous?
It can be. Stop charging and using the device, keep it away from heat and don't press on it. Tell us it's swollen when you request the repair, and we'll handle it carefully.
Do you replace tablet and laptop batteries too?
Yes: iPads and other tablets, and MacBooks and other laptops. Tell us the model and we'll quote it.
