Before you sell

The device should be:

  • Paid off, with a clean IMEI: no carrier financing, lease or balance owed
  • Not reported lost or stolen, not blacklisted, and not iCloud-locked or activation-locked
  • Signed out of Find My and iCloud (or your Google account on Android), with SIM and memory cards removed
  • Yours to sell, and you're 18 or older with a photo ID to show when we meet

    Selling questions

    What phones do you buy?

    Most iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, plus iPads and other tablets, laptops including MacBooks, and game consoles. Cracked or not working? Tell us its condition and we'll let you know what we can offer.

    Can I sell a phone that isn't paid off?

    No. Phones and tablets need a clean IMEI: fully paid off, with no carrier financing, installment plan or lease outstanding, and not reported lost or stolen.

    What do I do before we meet?

    Turn off Find My and sign out of iCloud (on Android, remove your Google account), sign out of any other accounts, back up what you want to keep, and take out your SIM and memory cards. We can erase the device together when we meet.

    Is the offer final?

    Our offer is based on what you tell us and your photos. The final price is set when we inspect the device in person.

    Selling terms, the short version

    • It's yours to sell. You own it (or may sell it), you're 18 or older, and it isn't stolen, reported, blacklisted or locked to an account.
    • Clean IMEI. Fully paid off: no carrier financing, installment plan, lease or balance owed.
    • Unlocked from you. Not iCloud-locked or activation-locked; Find My turned off and signed out of iCloud (or your Google account on Android).
    • Our offer is an estimate. The final price is set when we inspect the device in person.
    • We may ask for photo ID and keep a record of the sale.
    • Your data. Sign out of your accounts (Find My, Google), remove SIM and memory cards, and erase it. We aren't responsible for data left on it.
    • Pest-free devices only. We can't buy a device with signs of pests.
    • Final once paid. If it turns out to be stolen, financed, blacklisted or locked, you refund us in full.

    Pest-free devices only

    Insects such as roaches sometimes take shelter inside electronics, especially warm ones like game consoles, cable boxes and laptops. It can happen in any home, and it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

    • Why we're strict. Even a single insect or a few eggs can spread to our tools, our workspace and other customers' devices, and contamination can damage repair equipment.
    • Our policy. We don't accept or work on devices with signs of pests: live or dead insects, eggs, droppings or nesting material. They never come into our repair area.
    • What happens. We take a quick look before accepting a device. If we see signs of pests, we hand it right back; if they turn up once it's opened, we close it up and return it unrepaired.
    • No charge. You pay nothing for a device we turn away for this reason.

    Once a device has been professionally cleaned and the source treated, we may be able to take it, at our discretion. The policy in our terms (opens in a new tab).
